Abstract:
Provided is a network function virtualization management orchestration device that can optimize the arrangement of a virtual machine while using a VIM that does not have a function for determining the arrangement destination of virtual machines. A network function virtualization management orchestration device that includes a VIM and an entity that is superior to the VIM. The VIM performs resource management and control on an NFVI that provides an execution infrastructure for a VNF that is executed and virtualized by software that operates on a virtual machine. The superior entity collects resource information for the NFVI from the VIM and, on the basis of the collected resource information for the NFVI, determines an arrangement destination for the virtual machine. The VIM generates the virtual machine at the arrangement destination determined for the virtual machine.
