Abstract:
The invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed in an embodiment of the invention are a network interworking method, a network element, and a system capable of increasing efficiency of interworking between a first network and a second network. The solution provided in the embodiment of the invention comprises: after ascertaining that a first network requests to connect to a second network, a network interworking configuration network element respectively transmitting, to each network element in a first set of network elements, an identifier of a network element to be connected thereto in a second set of network elements, such that each network element in the first set of network elements interworks with the network element to be connected thereto in the second set of network elements. The invention is applicable to network interworking.
