Disclosed are a network link monitoring method and device, network system and storage medium, the method comprising: a master node module transmits a configuration file to a plurality of standby node modules; the standby node modules receive the configuration file, and execute a smallest link coverage algorithm on the configuration file so as to obtain the smallest link coverage set of data probing streams between the standby node modules; the standby node modules execute a one-way time-delay probing algorithm to conduct the one-way time-delay probing on the smallest link coverage set so as to obtain a one-way time-delay probing result, and return the one-way time-delay probing result to the master node module; and the master node module determines, according to a set alarm threshold, whether to trigger an alarm program. The present invention conducts an accurate, effective and complete monitoring on all links in the whole network, solves a time-delay problem caused by asymmetrical links, and quickly locates a link having a fault.
