Abstract:
A network node for transferring packets, wherein the network node is provided with: a port through which the transferred packet is inputted and outputted; a buffer memory for temporarily storing the inputted packet; a search engine for determining the port from which the inputted packet is to be outputted; and a timing adjustment unit for adjusting the time difference required between reception and transmission of a packet of a specific type.
