Abstract:
Provided is a print data transmitting device capable of communicating to an operator recommended printing conditions in accordance with the size of a recording paper inside a printing device. The print data transmitting device comprises the following: a printing condition storage unit that saves printing conditions designated by a user as user-designated printing conditions; a printing condition comparison unit that compares the user-designated printing conditions with the recommended printing conditions in accordance with the recording paper size and which are determined on the basis of print setting information including the recording paper size and whether double-sided printing is possible; a change screen display unit that, in a case where the user-designated printing conditions did not match the recommended printing conditions, displays a change screen which includes the recommended printing conditions and on which a selection button is provided for selecting the recommended printing conditions as the printing conditions; a printing condition change unit that changes the user-designated printing conditions on the basis of the operation of the selection button; a print data generation unit that, on the basis of a print command, generates print data which includes the user-designated printing conditions; and a print data transmission unit that transmits the print data.
