Abstract:

This network system has: a first master device that executes, in each cycle, a process for data reception from a first slave device, a process for executing a portion of the first process intended for the received data in accordance with predetermined assignment, a process for transmitting data corresponding to the remainder of the first process to the outside in accordance with predetermined assignment and for receiving a result corresponding to the remainder of the first process, and a process for transmitting, to the first slave device, a result corresponding to the first process; a second master device that transmits, to the first master device, the result corresponding to the remainder of the first process in response to the data received from the first master device before a period assigned to the first process within the cycle is completed; a first network in which data is transmitted between the first slave device and the first master device; and a second network in which data is transmitted between the first master device and the second master device.
