Abstract:
This network system includes: a network in which QoS control for controlling the quality of communication services is performed in multiple units of control; and a terminal apparatus connected to the network. The network has multiple first nodes capable of performing QoS control. The terminal apparatus comprises: a determination unit that determines whether or not QoS control should be performed on the terminal apparatus, as an alternative to or in addition to QoS control performed in a first unit of control of the multiple units of control, in a second unit of control being another unit of control; and a request unit that, in the case when the determination unit has determined that QoS control should be performed in the second unit of control, asks one of the multiple first nodes at which QoS control is to be performed in the second unit of control to perform QoS control in the second unit of control.
