Title:
NETWORK TRANSMISSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/077659
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
When a network transmission device receives a SYN+ACK packet, the device allocates a memory area for managing a connection state and starts state management. Here, the connection state includes the type (SYN+ACK, ACK for SY_N+ACK, etc.) of the TCP control packet received. When the network transmission device receives an ACK packet, the device judges that the connection state is established and allocates a buffer for storing the TCP packet transmitted from a terminal device (1), in a memory. Thus, it is possible to obtain a network transmission device which is not easily attacked by a DoS attack by effectively using the memory resource.
