The neural network computing apparatus comprises a system control module, a computing module, a bus control interface module and an internal storage module. The system control module is in communication connection with the computing module; the bus control interface module is in communication connection with the computing module and the internal storage module respectively; the neural network computing apparatus is in communication connection with an external storage module by means of the bus control interface module; first source image pixel point data are stored in the internal storage module; second source image pixel point data are stored in the external storage module; the first source image pixel point data and the second source image pixel point data form pixel point data of a source image; and the source image pixel point data are stored in blocks in the internal storage module and the external storage module. The present invention can efficiently read pixel point data and improve calculation efficiency.
