Abstract:
A neutron moderation composite material, comprising a mixed material, a material accounting for 0.1-5% of the weight percentage of the mixed material and comprising a 6Li element, and Cu accounting for 0.1-5% of the weight percentage of the mixed material. The mixed material comprises a mixture of one or more of Al, MgF 2 and AlF 3; the mixed material comprises the following components in mass percentage: 10-95% of pure aluminum powder, 20-80% of aluminum fluoride powder, and 0.1-15% of magnesium fluoride powder; the material comprising the 6Li element is 6LiF powder; the mixed material further comprises pure magnesium powder, and the mass percentage of the pure magnesium powder is 0.1-5%. According to the present invention, when a moderation material at the end of an apparatus or device is decommissioned, the radioactivity thereof can be attenuated to a level of exemption or below in a short time, and obvious advantages of radioactive waste disposal method and economy can be achieved.
