Abstract:
A new method for manufacturing a rope end taper sleeve (1), which uses a seamless steel tube (2) and which produces the rope end taper sleeve (1) by means of cold extrusion processing of a die forging process. The method for manufacturing the rope end taper sleeve (1) comprises: blanking, performing cold extrusion processing on a first end portion (21) of the seamless steel tube (2), performing cold extrusion processing on a second end portion (22) of the seamless steel tube (2), flattening the seamless steel tube (2), and performing trimming, drilling and tapping on the seamless steel tube (2). The manufacturing method has fewer processes than a method for manufacturing a rope end taper sleeve which uses a casting process, and thus significantly improves production efficiency, while reducing production costs.
