Abstract:

Taxane derivatives of general formula (1), wherein A is substituted piperazino or piperidino; X is alkyl, pyridyl, thienyl, furyl, cycloalkyloxy or the like; and Y is H or trialkylsilyl, and medicines containing the same. These compounds are highly soluble in water and excellent in anti-tumor activity.
