Abstract:

The invention concerns fluoropolymers with enhanced heat stability and improved resistance to deformation when hot. The fluoropolymers are made from fluoroethylenes, using as comonomers perfluoro cylcoalkyl vinyl ethers and, optionally, other comonomers. The invention also concerns the perfluoro cycloalkyl vinyl ethers which give the fluoropolymers described their useful thermal properties.
