Abstract:
The present invention provides a nickel-based heat-resistant material having improved cyclic oxidation properties and including 4-7 wt% of cobalt (Co), 3-6 wt% of chromium (Cr), 0.1-3 wt% of molybdenum (Mo), 2.5-6.5 wt% of tungsten (W), 5-8 wt% of rhenium (Re), 5-6.5 wt% of aluminum (Al), 6-9 wt% of tantalum (Ta), 4-7 wt% of ruthenium (Ru), and 0.01-0.1 wt% of gadolinium (Gd), with the remainder comprising nickel (Ni) and other inevitable impurities. The nickel-based heat-resistant material including gadolinium (Gd) according to the present invention has the advantages in which peeling of an oxide layer is suppressed and the stability of the oxide layer is increased, thus allowing the formation of an oxide layer that is thin and uniform overall, and nitrogen is unable to infiltrate into the oxide layer, and thus the formation of nitrides can be suppressed. Moreover, there is an advantage in that the oxidation rate is slow and thus an Al-depletion layer (γ' denuded zone) due to the formation of the oxide layer can also be formed extremely thin compared to specimens to which Gd is not added.
