Abstract:

A nickel powder coated with a titanium compound, characterized in that it is produced by a method wherein a nickel powder is contacted with peroxotitanic acid to thereby coat the nickel powder with a titanium compound; and an electroconductive paste using the nickel powder. The nickel powder can be suitably used for producing an electroconductive paste capable of preventing the occurrence of delamination.
