Abstract:
The night-time visibility device for bicycles of the present invention is one which is attached to a bicycle wheel having an axle (10) and a spoke-securing flange (20) joined to the outer circumferential surface of the axle (10), a plurality of spokes (30) secured to the spoke-securing flange (20), a rim (40) which supports the spokes (30) and to which a tyre (50) is attached, and an air-injection nozzle (60), and comprises: a reflective tube (200) where a core material (230), which has been surface treated with a reflective film (220), is housed inside a tube (210) made of hollow tubing; auxiliary support pieces (300) a plurality of which are mounted at intervals around the girth of the reflective tube (200) and on one side of each of which is formed a support hole (330) whereby it is tightly fitted and joined to a spoke (30); and a finishing support piece (400) which connects the two ends of the reflective tube (200) together and on one side of which is formed a nozzle-insertion hole (430) where the air-injection nozzle (60) is inserted.
