Provided are the following: a nitrogen analysis method which is for quantitatively analyzing nitrogen in a sample by using a chemiluminescent method with ozone, and which enables nitrogen concentration to be measured with even higher accuracy; and a nitrogen analysis device for carrying out the analysis method. Provided are the nitrogen analysis method and the nitrogen analysis device, configured so that when analyzing the nitrogen in a fuel-related sample, there is no impact on the human body and the environmental burden can be further reduced. Provided is the analysis method, in which a sample containing a nitrogen compound is combusted, the thereby obtained sample gas and ozone are reacted to measure the chemiluminescent intensity thereof, and on the basis of a standard curve which was prepared in advance and represents the relationship between the chemiluminescent intensity and the nitrogen weight, the nitrogen concentration in the sample is quantified, wherein as the standard curve, used is a standard curve which was prepared in advance from a standard sample having a nitrogen concentration of 5-100ppm, and as the sample, used is a diluted sample obtained by diluting with a solvent to achieve a nitrogen concentration of 5-100ppm.
