Abstract:
A composition comprising an emulsion of an oil phase and a water phase, wherein the emulsion comprises an emulsifier of the formula: wherein: R represents C1-C40 alkyl, C1-C40 alkenyl, alkylaryl where the alkyl portion is C1-C40 alkyl, aryl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl, or R1-O-R2 where R1 and R2 independently represent C1-C22 alkyl, C1-C22 alkenyl, alkylaryl where the alkyl portion is C1-C22 alkyl, aryl, or C3-C7 cycloalkyl; x represents a cation; m is an integer satisfying the valency of X; and the composition is at a pH of 5.0 to 10.
