Abstract:
Provided are a noble metal adsorbent which enables easy recovery of a noble metal while achieving a high adsorption capacity with respect to a noble metal, a noble metal recovery method, and a noble metal adsorbent recycling method. A noble metal adsorbent according to the present invention contains a metallic sulfide. The metallic sulfide is constituted by, for example, molybdenum disulfide particles. In a noble metal recovery method according to the present invention, the noble metal adsorbent is caused to adsorb a noble metal and then the noble metal adsorbent is heated and volatilized in the presence of oxygen, so that the noble metal is recovered.
