Title:
NODULAR VESSEL AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/025666
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A nodular vessel is composed of a plurality of sectional hollow vessels (13;23) connected with each other. Each hollow vessel is arched inward, with the middle part of the side wall sinking inward and the two ends expanding gradually. A method to process the nodular vessel is also disclosed, including the following steps: firstly, rolling a square stainless steel sheet (10;20) into a hollow column (11;21) and welding the two butted ends; inserting two male molds (12;22) into the ports at the two ends of the hollow column respectively and extruding from upper and lower head faces of the hollow column towards the middle so as to form an inwardly arched vessel (13;23) with the two ends everted and the middle part sinking inward; repeating above steps according to the number of sections of the vessel; welding the head faces of a plurality of inwardly arched vessel units which have the same semi-diameter, thus forming an inwardly arched multi-section vessel; welding a bottom to the inwardly arched multi-section vessel; polishing above inwardly arched multi-section vessel. The inventive inwardly arched nodular vessel is antiskid and overcomes the defect of singular structure; furthermore the semi-finished products are not deformed and are of high stability, and it has no cracks, corrugations and scuffings during the process.
