Abstract:
The invention concerns a noise damper (10) for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine exhaust line (1) muffler (2) tube (8), said noise damper (10) being positioned around a tube (8) portion (11) provided with perforations and being defined by a housing (13) arranged around said tube (8) and by sound insulation means interposed between said housing (13) and said tube (8). Said noise damper (10) is characterized in that its housing (13) consists of at least one fine metal plate element arranged above or around the tube (8).
