Abstract:
A physical system such as an electronic circuit is used to configure a phase-locked loop,
which is then driven by use of a non-sinusoidal wave signal into a chaos state or
non-phase lock state, thereby generating white noise. The white noise is generated by
a combination of the damping coefficient (σ), amplitude (a) and angular frequency
(ω1) of an equation representative of the behavior of the phase-locked
loop. Examples of the non-sinusoidal wave signal include symmetrical triangular
waves, symmetrical square waves and symmetrical saw-tooth waves.
