Abstract:
A noise insulation device for a rail, eliminating the need for a large number of noise insulation covers having different lengths and effectively isolating noise using one type of noise insulation covers having the same length.
Three first to third rail ties (S1-S3) to which a rail (R) is fixed are arranged in sequence from one side to the other side in the length direction of the rail. A first noise insulation cover (31) is laid across the first and second rail ties (S1, S2), and a second noise insulation cover (32) is laid across the second and third noise insulation rail ties (S2, S3). The length (L) of the noise insulation covers (31, 32) is fixed and is set to be greater than the pitch (P1) between the first and second rail ties (S1, S2) and than the pitch (P2) between second and third rail ties (S2, S3). The first noise insulation cover (31) and the second noise insulation cover (32) are, on the second rail tie (S2), placed over required portions of the surface of the rail with facing ends of the first noise insulation cover (31) and the second noise insulation cover (32) overlapped on each other over a required width.
