Title:
NOISE AND SPARKING PREVENTION FOR THYRISTOR CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/180186
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A power switch becomes worn out due to sparking in a circuit in which energization is repeated multiple times during a short period such as when heating an impulse heat sealer. Moreover, trigger noise is generated when using a thyristor for a timer circuit. The present invention resolves the above problems with fewer components and reduced costs. A capacitor of an appropriate value is placed before a trigger circuit and a timer circuit that are applied to the gate of a thyristor. Consequently, sparking of a switch is not generated or is sharply reduced. Furthermore, noise is minimized because a gate trigger of zero volts is applied.
