Abstract:
The present invention relates to an air purifier having efficient air purification and humidification functions and enabling minimization of vibration and noise generation. An air purifier according to the present invention comprises: a casing (10) having an inlet port (12), through which the air flows inward, and an outlet port (14) for discharging the air, which has been purified inside, outward; a fan-motor assembly (400) forming an airflow which draws the air from the outside into the casing through the inlet port and discharges the air treated inside through the outlet port; a HEPA filter (210) for primarily filtering foreign materials by means of passing the air flowing in through the inlet port therethrough; and a cyclone body (310) which is a secondary air purification and humidification apparatus. The filter (210) is connected to the cyclone body (310) by means of a connection path, and the connection path (R) is in a ring shape having a fixed height and is disposed between an inner pipe (442) and an outer pipe (444) of an airflow housing (440). Moreover, a vibration absorbing member (DR), which is molded from EPDM, is interposed between the outer pipe (444) and the casing (10), thereby preventing the airflow from coming into direct contact with the casing, when a vortex is formed by means of the fan-motor assembly, and minimizing the generation of vibration and noise.
