Abstract:
According to the present embodiment, a non-aqueous electrolyte cell is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode contains an active material and a binder. The active material contained in the negative electrode contains monoclinic crystal titanium dioxide, or Li4+aTi5O12 (where –0.5 ≤ a ≤ 3), and the binder contained by the negative electrode contains a polyvinylidene fluoride having a molecular weight of 400,000 to 1,000,000. The negative electrode satisfies equation (I) below. The non-aqueous electrolyte contains at least one of difluorophosphate or monofluorophosphate. 0.1 ≤ (P2/P1) ≤ 0.4 (I), wherein P1 is the peak intensity that appears within a range of 689 to 685 eV of the spectrum obtained using photoelectron spectroscopy on the surface of the negative electrode, and P2 is the peak intensity that appears within a range of 684 to 680 eV in said spectrum.
