Abstract:
According to the embodiment, there is provided a non-aqueous electrolyte cell provided with an exterior member, a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The positive electrode contains, as an active material, a lithium-containing nickel-cobalt-manganese composite oxide represented by Li1-xNi1-a-bCoaMnbO2 (satisfying –0.2 ≤ x ≤ 0.5, 0 < a ≤ 0.5, and 0 < b ≤ 0.5). The negative electrode contains, as an active material, a lithium titanium composite oxide having a spinel structure. With the charging rate of the non-aqueous electrolyte cell set at 30%, the gas composition within the exterior member when allowed to stand for 24 hours at 35°C satisfies formulas (1) to (3). VH2 is the hydrogen gas quantity (cc) per 1 g of the negative electrode, VC3H6 is the propylene gas quantity (cc) per 1 g of the negative electrode, and VCO is the carbon monoxide gas quantity (cc) per 1 g of the negative electrode. 0.02 (cc/g) ≤ VH2 ≤ 0.1 (cc/g) (Formula 1) 0.05 ≤ VC3H6/VCO ≤ 0.1 (Formula 2) 1 ≤ VCO/VH2 ≤ 9 (Formula 3)
