Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that yields excellent input/output characteristics in low-temperature environments, and a method of manufacturing said secondary battery. This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with a negative electrode having a negative-electrode mixture layer, and is characterized in that the negative-electrode mixture layer contains carbonaceous particles and carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt, the average particle diameter of the carbonaceous particles being 7 µm or less.
