Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that has excellent impact resistance and does not easily ignite, smoke, etc. due to internal short circuits, even when the battery is subjected to strong impact. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one example of the embodiments comprises: a positive electrode (11) that has exposed parts (32A), (32B) that are formed at a longitudinal-direction middle part of a positive electrode collector (30); a positive electrode tab (20) that is bonded to exposed part (32A); insulating tape (40) that covers exposed part (32A) and is stuck to the positive electrode (11); and insulating tape (41) that covers exposed part (32B) and is stuck to the positive electrode (11). The insulating tape (40), (41) is stuck to the positive electrode (11) such that one width-direction end (40a) and one width-direction end (41a) and/or another width-direction end (40b) and another width-direction end (41b) do not overlap in the thickness direction of the positive electrode (11).
