Title:
NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/182151
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that can keep the electric potential of a metal layer in an outer packaging body high and suppress corrosion. In this non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the average thickness t1 of a first section of an outer packaging body differs from the average thickness t2 of a second section of the outer packaging body, said first section covering a first side surface on which a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal of an electricity generation element are present, and said second section covering a second side surface that is in a location intersecting with the first side surface of the electricity generation element. When the electricity generation element is viewed in planar view from a layering direction, if the width of the negative electrode is greater than the width of the positive electrode in a first direction, in which the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal extend, and in a second direction orthogonally intersecting the first direction, then the relationship t1t2 is satisfied.
