Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a non-aqueous electrolytic solution for lithium air batteries, which is prevented from the occurrence of positive electrode overvoltage during charging, the reaction with an electrolytic solution and the growth of dendrites simultaneously, and which can improve output properties; and a lithium air battery provided with the non-aqueous electrolytic solution. [Solution] A non-aqueous electrolytic solution for lithium air batteries according to the present invention contains an organic solvent and a lithium salt, wherein the lithium salt comprises at least LiX (wherein X represents Br and/or I) and lithium nitrate, the molar concentration (mol/L) of LiX in the non-aqueous electrolytic solution satisfies the range of equal to or more than 0.005 and equal to or less than 2.0, and the molar concentration (mol/L) of the lithium nitrate in the non-aqueous electrolytic solution satisfies the range of more than 0.1 and equal to or lower than 2.0.
