Abstract:
This non-aqueous secondary battery polymer composition contains polymer particles having a unit U1 derived from an ethylenical monomer M1 and a unit U2 derived from an ethylenical monomer M2. The ethylenical monomer M1, as a homo-polymer, has a glass transition temperature of not more than -60ºC, and has a degree of swelling in an electrolytic solution of not more than 1.4 times. The ethylenical monomer M2, as a homo-polymer, has a glass transition temperature of not less than -100ºC, and has a degree of swelling in an electrolytic solution of not more than 1.2 times. With respect to 100 mass% of the total units derived from ethylenically unsaturated monomers constituting the polymer particles, the contained amount of the unit U1 is more than 50 mass%, and the contained amount of the unit U2 is not less than 5 mass% but less than 50 mass%. The polymer particles have a degree of swelling in an electrolytic solution of not more than 1.3 times.
