Abstract:
A non-asbestos joint sheet formed from a composition for joint sheet formation comprising a non-asbestos base fiber, a rubber, a rubber chemical and a filler, wherein magnesium oxide is contained in an amount of 1.5 to 20 wt.%, preferably 1.8 to 10 wt.%, and especially preferably 2.0 to 7.0 wt.% based on the weight of joint sheet. The obtained non-asbestos joint sheet exhibits excellent stress relaxation characteristics in not only dry heat but also wet heat.
