Abstract:
A non-contact power feeding system includes: a station which a vehicle can go in and out; and a bottom detection sensor having a detection unit capable of detecting an object that comes into a detection range, the bottom detection sensor being provided in the station and outputting a bottom detection signal depending on a part of the bottom of the vehicle that comes into the detection range. The non-contact power feeding system executes a detection signal output step of allowing the bottom detection sensor to output the bottom detection signal in a time series when the vehicle travels through the station at a given speed that is a predetermined speed; and a coil position information extraction step of extracting, from the time-series bottom detection signal, coil position information, i.e., information relating to the position of a power receiving coil in the vehicle.
