Abstract:
Provided is a method for efficiently adjusting both the resonance frequency and impedance of a resonance system in non-contact power transmission using a resonance method.
A variable capacitor (220) adjusts the resonance frequency of a secondary self-resonant coil (210). An impedance matching box (250) adjusts the input impedance of a resonance system. An ECU (290) firstly adjusts the resonance frequency of the secondary self-resonant coil (210) by controlling the variable capacitor (220), then, after the resonance frequency adjustment, the ECU adjusts the input impedance of the resonance system by controlling the impedance matching box (250). When the resonance frequency is being adjusted by means of the variable capacitor (220), the ECU (290) sets the impedance of the impedance matching box (250) to a predetermined fixed value.
