Abstract:
This non-contact power receiving apparatus receives, in non-contact manner, power transmitted from a power transmitting apparatus (200). The power transmitting apparatus includes a power transmitting unit (220) and a power supply unit (250), which supplies alternating current power to the power transmitting unit. The non-contact power receiving apparatus is provided with: a power receiving unit (110), which receives power in non-contact manner from the power transmitting unit; and electric load apparatuses (190, 120), which use power that has been received by the power receiving unit. The power receiving unit is configured such that transmission efficiency at a power supply frequency of a power supply unit used in the non-contact power transmission is highest in the case where the power receiving unit is disposed at a position shifted from that of the power transmitting unit. Preferably, the power receiving unit is configured such that the power supply frequency and a peak frequency, at which the transmission efficiency is at a peak when a power transmission frequency is changed, match each other, in the case where the center axis of the power receiving unit and the center axis of the power transmitting unit are disposed in a state wherein the positions of the center axes are shifted from each other in the horizontal direction.
