Abstract:
The non-contact power reception device is equipped with a power reception coil (112) that receives, by means of electromagnetic resonance, power transmitted from an electrical transmission coil, a rectifier (140) that rectifies the power received by the power reception coil (112), a load to which the power rectified by the rectifier (140) is supplied, a connection switch (146) and a resistor (144) that are provided for a pair of power lines which transmit power to the load from the power reception coil (112) through the rectifier (140) and that are connected in series between the pair of power lines, and a control device. The control device renders the connection switch conductive to determine the position of the reception coil, and renders the connection switch nonconductive to transmit power to the load from the power reception coil (112) through the rectifier (140).
