A non-contact power supply device (101) that transmits power to a power reception device (102) in a non-contact manner has: a power transmission coil unit (11), which has a power transmission coil (L11) and a power transmission-side capacitor (C2), and transmits power to the power reception device; and a power conversion unit (13), which is provided with an inverter device (31) that outputs alternating current power, and a circuit wherein an inductor (L1) and a power output-side capacitor (C1) are connected in series, and which supplies power to the power transmission coil unit by being connected to the power supply coil unit via power supply cables (12a, 12b). The capacitance of the power output-side capacitor is set such that the frequency of the alternating-current power to be outputted from a power conversion circuit and the resonant frequency due to the inductance of an inductive element and the electrostatic capacitance of the power output-side capacitor match. Furthermore, a combined electrostatic capacitance of the power transmission-side capacitor and the power output-side capacitor is set such that the combined electrostatic capacitance matches the electrostatic capacitance of a resonant capacitor to be disposed with respect to the power transmission coil as a transmission-side resonant circuit.
