Abstract:
A non-contact power transmission device provided with a ground-side apparatus, a vehicle-side apparatus, and an impedance adjustment unit. The ground-side apparatus includes a high-frequency power supply and a primary-side coil. The vehicle-side apparatus includes a secondary-side coil, a rectifier, a battery, and a DC bias power supply. The secondary-side coil receives AC power, without contact, from the primary-side coil. The rectifier rectifies the AC power to DC power using a diode that actuates when a voltage equal to or greater than a predefined threshold voltage is applied. The DC power is inputted into the battery. The impedance adjustment unit is provided to the ground-side apparatus and/or the vehicle-side apparatus. The DC bias power supply applies, to a semiconductor element, a bias voltage equal to or greater than the threshold voltage when impedance adjustment is performed.
