Abstract:
This non-contact power transmission system comprises a first coil, a second coil, a non-metallic heat transferring body, a non-contact temperature detector, and a controller. The second coil is disposed facing the top side of the first coil. The heat transferring body is formed on the top surface of the first coil. The non-contact temperature detector, which is disposed on the end of the first coil and/or the second coil, detects the temperature of the heat transferring body. The controller is electrically connected to the first coil, the second coil, and the non-contact temperature detector, and when power is transmitted between the first coil and the second coil and the non-contact temperature detector detects a temperature exceeding a predetermined temperature, the controller assesses that there is a metallic foreign object on the first coil.
