Title:
NON-CONTACT THERMOMETER FOR ANIMAL AND METHOD FOR MEASURING ANIMAL TEMPERATURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/194658
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The task to be solved by the present invention is providing various types of non-contact thermometers for measuring the temperature of an animal and a method for measuring temperature in order to overcome the limit of a prior art thermometer as described above and measure the temperature of an animal more accurately and easily. To resolve the problem of a prior art thermometer, the present invention provides a non-contact thermometer for an animal comprising: a sensor unit configured so that infrared rays corresponding to a measured part are incident, and so that infrared rays corresponding to a preset viewing angle are incident; a control unit for calculating the temperature of an animal by using temperature measured by the sensor unit; and a display unit for displaying the temperature of the animal. Also, provided is a non-contact method for measuring temperature for an animal comprising the steps of: measuring the temperature of a measured part multiple times according to a preset number; determining a representative temperature among the temperatures measured multiple times; and displaying a calculated animal temperature by using the representative temperature.
