Abstract:
This non-contact thermometer (1) comprises a mirror (3), a proximity sensor (42), a marking light (5), a speaker (6), an infrared sensor (41), a display (7), and a control unit (8). The marking light (5) is for emitting a mark (52) toward a measurer positioned in front of the mirror (3). Upon detecting, using the proximity sensor (42), that the measurer has approached the mirror (3), the control unit (8) uses the marking light (5) to emit the mark (52) onto the measurer. The control unit (8) uses the speaker (6) to output a body temperature measurement advance notification sound and calculates a body temperature on the basis of a measured value from the infrared sensor (41). The control unit (8) uses the speaker (6) to output a body temperature measurement notification sound and displays the body temperature on the display (7).
