Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for purifying non-diffusive botulinum toxin causing local muscle paralysis, and non-diffusive botulinum toxin purified thereby, and more specifically, to a method for purifying non-diffusive botulinum toxin comprising the following step: treating a purified botulinum toxin type A formulation with anion chromatography in which sodium chloride (NaCl) with controlled concentration is added, to separate a sub-fraction; and obtaining a fraction having an A260/A280 value of a predetermined range from the sub-fraction, and non-diffusive botulinum toxin causing local muscle paralysis purified thereby.
