Abstract:
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to non-ferromagnetic invar alloys based on titanium-niobium and used in modern engineering as a construction material for thermostable structures exposed to the effect of magnetic fields and extreme operating temperatures. The novelty of the invar alloy based on titanium-niobium and having a multiphase structure lies in that in addition, said alloy contains molybdenum Mo and has a content of the formula Ti¿a? Nb¿b ?Mo¿c ?with the following components ratio, mass %: b$m(G)30; 0/05$m(F)c$m(F)2; b+c$m(F)32; everything else being a. Said alloy has the structure consisting of $g(b) ¿metast?. phase and $g(a) phase at the following ratio between the phase volumes, volume %: $g(b) ¿metast ? 46-56,¿ ?the rest being $g(a) , including an unavoidable accompanying phase having the volume of $m(F)2 %.
