Abstract:
A non-formaldehyde recombinant material is disclosed. The material comprises a plurality of bamboo/wood bundles formed by structures parallel to grain, an adhesive layer is arranged between the adjacent bundles and in splits of each bundle, and the adhesive of the adhesive layer is aromatic diisocyanate. The adhesive application amount is 5 to 20 percent by the weight of absolute dry weight of the bamboo/wood bundles material. A method for manufacturing recombinant material is also disclosed. The method comprises the processing steps of the bamboo/wood bundles manufacturing, drying, adhesive applying, assembling, curing molding, post treatment. In the adhesive applying process, the adhesive is the aromatic diisocyanate; and is applied by spraying. The method employs the aromatic diisocyanate adhesive in the process, so that the detection values of the recombinant material formaldehyde release amount and free phenol equal to the detection value of a bamboo/wood substrate material, and makes the recombinant material have good adhesion properties and strengthens mechanical properties. Adopting method of spraying adhesive greatly reduces the adhesive application amount, so that the application of the aromatic diisocyanate adhesive with high cost to the recombinant material has feasibility of implementation.
