Abstract:
A non-ohmic composition having a base elastomer and a plurality of non-ohmic particles, wherein if the field intensity applied to the non-ohmic composition is E, the volume resistivity of the non-ohmic composition is ρ, the threshold field intensity at the point where the absolute value of the amount of change in the slope of logp relative to logE reaches the maximum value is Eth, and a comparison is made to the volume resistivity p of the non-ohmic composition in the range of E≥ Eth when the non-ohmic composition is not elongated, the volume resistivity ρ of the non-ohmic composition at 50% uniaxial elongation is no more than 50 times the volume resistivity p of the non-ohmic composition when not elongated.
