Abstract:
A non-porous spherical silica powder which has an average particle diameter of 0.1 to 20 $g(m)m and satisfies the following items: its maximum particle diameter is four times or less its average particle diameter, and in the viscosity measurement of the mixture of the silica powder with a liquid epoxy resin of bis-phenol A type at a mass ratio of 70 : 30, $g(h)1/$g(h)2 is less than 1.0, wherein $g(h)1 and $g(h)2 represent the viscosity values when the numbers of rotation in a viscometer used are 0.5 rpm and 2.5 rpm, respectively.
