Abstract:
A non-reducing dielectric ceramic material containing a main component having a main composition expressed by the formula [(Ca�x?Sr�1-x?)O]�m?[Ti�Y?Zr�1-Y?)O�2?], where X, Y and m satisfy the inequalities 0 $m(F) X $m(F) 1, 0 $m(F) Y $m(F) 0.10 and 0.75 $m(F) m $m(F) 1.04, respectively, and sub-components: 0.2-5 mol % of Mn oxides in terms of MnO, 0.1-10 mol % of Al oxides in terms of Al�2?O�3?, and 0.5-15 mol % of a sub-component expressed by the formula [(Ba�Z?Ca�1-Z?)O]�v?SiO�2? where Z and V are in the ranges O $m(F) Z $m(F) 1 and 0.5 $m(F) V $m(F) 4.0. When this material is used for a multilayer ceramic capacitor having an internal electrode of a base metal such as Ni, the material is sintered at a temperature not higher than 1,300 �C. The capacitance/temperature coefficient is small and can be controlled arbitrarily within the range of -150 to +150 ppm/ �C. The resistivity at 25 �C is more than 1x10?13� $g(V)cm. The frequency dependences of relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent (tan$g(d)) are a little, and the accelerated lifetime of the insulation resistance is long.
