Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for a non-slip road paving material, which improves the adhesion to asphalt and durability of a non-slip layer constructed on an asphalt road surface, and shortens the time required for hardening the non-slip layer during the construction thereof on the asphalt road surface in the wintertime, thereby preventing the breakage of the asphalt and concrete. For this purpose, the composition of the non-slip road paving material according to the present invention comprises a mixture of 5 to 25 wt % of an epoxy resin, 4 to 25 wt % of a urethane resin, 10 to 70 wt % of a ceramic aggregate, 5 to 40 wt % of ground tire rubber, 5 to 20 wt % of ground limestone, 5 to 25 wt % of an MMA (methyl methacrylate) resin, 1 to 10 wt % of a hot melt bond, and 1 to 5 wt % of silica sand particles containing silicon dioxide, i.e., silica.
