Abstract:
Disclosed is a non-stepless lowering device comprising a lifting/lowering link which has a pivoting section for a base section and another pivoting section for a vertically moving body; a toothed link which is pivoted to one of either the base section or the vertically moving body, comprises a link ratchet located on an arc centering on the pertinent pivot axis, and swings in such a way as to be interlocked with the lifting/lowering link; an input member which is supported by a member in such a way as to be capable of performing swing operation between a neutral position and a lowered position, said member being the vertically moving body or the base section, as applicable, which has the pivot axis constituting the arc center for the link ratchet; a first lowering prevention mechanism which, at a neutral position for the input member, meshes with the link ratchet, thereby preventing the toothed link from making lowering swing, and which, when the input member is subjected to a swing operation in the lowering direction, allows lowering swing of the toothed link; and a second lowering prevention mechanism whereby the lifting/lowering link is allowed to perform lowering swing by an angle corresponding to one tooth of the link ratchet, said lifting/lowering link being allowed, by the first lowering prevention mechanism, to perform lowering swing, and which meshes with the link ratchet to prevent the toothed link from performing further lowering swing.
